Window channel balance assistance

Quick Learner
Dear Swisco,

I need to order some 9/16" wide window channels for non-tilt windows. The model #'s are 1620 ans 2230. I believe it's the 350 series, but would like you to confirm before I place an order. The bottom plastic part has a plastic slider on both sides and the top has no plastic sliders. I attached a few pictures. Two pictures with the plastic clips are the bottom and the top is the picture with no clips (plastic sliders on the sides).

Thank you,
Ed

Hey, Ed. It's possible you have the Series 350 channel balance, yes, but I can't tell based on pictures alone. You will have to carefully compare the dimensions of your bottom shoe to our 15-004 and see how well they compare.

Paul, I'm pretty sure the channels I have are 350. I attached a few more pics hoping you can confirm they are a 350 channel with a 15-004 bottom shoe. Please review and advise.

Thank you,
Ed

Thanks for the extra images! This does look like a very big shoe, but I can't really eyeball it to confirm whether it's the 15-004 or not. What is its depth? The 15-004's depth is 1-3/32". Look at the image below to see what I mean:

Tom,

Very difficult to measure. Best estimate on depth is 1 3/16", as opposed to 1 3/32". Width, best estimate is 1 /16", as opposed to 15/16". Really hard to measure with a tape measure when you're down to 32nds. I think we are close. Is that good enough ? I mean we are so close that is it going to make that much of a difference ?? If not, it's probably the 15-004 just 3o yrs old. If it's okay then at least we confirmed it's the 350 channel......correct ? Please advise, Ed

Hey, Ed. Thanks for getting back to us. Just wanted to let you know that we are still researching whether or not our shoe will work for you. I will let you know as soon as we come to a decision. Please bear with us a little longer.

Tom, I just noticed that in the prior email width I had 1 /16", as opposed to 15/16". It should of been 1 1/16". Sorry

Personally, I think out 15-004 might still work. Now, I can't guarantee that it will be a perfect fit, but it is the closest match that we have and it may not even make that much of a difference.

Paul, I agree. Going out of town on business and as soon as I get back I will order the 15-004 channels.

Thanks for all your help.
