Window channel balance replacement

A quick learner from Los Angeles, CA says:
I would like to find the correct window channel balance to replace my current one which is broken. The stamp on the non-tilting window balance says "26 4 GU CMC 2". Do you have the correct replacement part for the entire mechanism? Thanks.

Hello,

We'd be happy to help but we would need to see photos of the fittings attached to the ends of your balance channel to compare to our inventory since the stamp code only indicates the spring strength needed, but not the correct replacement. Thank you!

A quick learner from Los Angeles, CA says:
Thank you so much for your assistance. As requested, I've attached photos of the ends of the balance channels. Thanks again....jer

With this combination of attachments, you could have either an S380-27 or S385-27 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment. You'll also need 2640 spring strength options for your replacement balances.

Thank you and let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
