Window channel balancer

28" x 7/16" x 7/16" ribbed metal balancer. Stamped 28b. Thought the windows were from jeld-wen but balancer from them has shoe and channel that is too wide to fit as channel in window frame is only 7/16" wide and they sent parts that are 9/16" wide.

Any help is greatly appreciated as windows are now 13 years old and only have issues with a couple of balancers. Don't want to have to replace whole window.

We don't currently have a replacement for this balance, but we're working on a possible solution for you. Please bear with us a little longer as we research possible replacement options.

In the meantime, can you tell me how many of these you need?

You were able to make the first 28b balancer for the lower tilt in windows and it fit perfectly. Can you make the above ribbed 7/16" balancer in a 26b version for the upper tilt in windows?
