Hello and welcome to SWISCO. Please take a look and see if our S380-28 channel balance looks like a match. This balance includes a 19-005 balance top and 15-005 bottom balance shoe. We ask that you compare your measurements with ours to confirm everything looks correct. If so, then you can go with the 2730 option that holds a sash weight of 13-19 pounds.

A quick learner from San Diego California says:
This track you suggested looks and measures the same as the track that I am replacing. However, I weighed the window and it weighs 22 lbs. Would the 2740 option be more appropriate?

I would like the window to be as easy as possible AND stay up when it is opened. Your thoughts?
Thanks, Donald

Casey from SWISCO responded:

Thank you for your reply, Donald. Well, if your sash weighs 22 pounds exactly, then you may be better off with the 2740 option. In this industry, it's not really unusual or unheard of having the wrong strength balance in the window. Sometimes, these incidents occur. But, I am glad you weighed your sash just to confirm the weight. I am sure these will work for you just fine. If anything else comes up, please let us know.
