Window channel spring balance replacement

A quick learner from Tarpon springs FL says:
This is 34" metal length 1/2" wide "Caldwell 33 2 BN" (see picture) that is for a 34"w x 36"h window that is approx 20lbs.

I am looking for the equivalent replacement part

It's over 25 years old

Thanks for posting. Take a look at either our S351-34 or S390-34 Channel Balances. The only difference between these two balance Series is the 'depth' of the bottom nylon shoe. The Series 351 bottom nylon shoe has a depth of 1", whereas the Series 390 bottom nylon shoe has a depth of 1-1/8". Compare with your old balances and see what you think matches best.

Once you know which balance you'll need, you need to pick a stamp option. Your stamp of 33 2 conforms to our stamp option of 3320, which is for a window sash in the weight range of 13 through 18 lbs. You say your window weighs approximately 20 lbs, so you may wish to double-check to make sure the stamp option is correct.
