Window coil

Wondering what coil I would need in order to replace the ones on my window that snapped. It reads 8EB on the side as seen in the photo.

Thanks for writing in. This looks like a Series 180 Coil Spring. The stamp number should indicate that you need the S180-8 coil spring, which supports 8 lbs individually. If you want to be certain though, weigh your window sash, and tell us that exact weight. Let us know if you have any questions.
