Window coil balance broken

A quick learner from River Edge NJ says:
Hi!
Something broke on one of the sides of my window. Not sure what broke but a friend suggested a coil. That is how I found this website. I can unlock and open the window but it will not stay up. It actually slams down from the weight of the window. Please see attached. I am hoping you have parts that can fix the window. Please let me know. Thank you!

Thanks for posting! That pivot shoe looks like our 15-180. Using that as a reference, I'd also recommend our Series 190 spring, 15-186 detent clip, and 15-182 barrel. You'll need the stamp off the old spring to confirm the best Series 190 option.

Also keep in mind that you only need to replace what's broken. If the spring is all you need, then you can absolutely reuse everything else.
