Window crank

Question

Hello, my window crank will still open the window, however I cannot close the window. It is Bilt Best hand crank and I would like to replace it.

It looks like your worm gear is missing from your operator, likely due to the gears stripping out. That can't be repaired or replaced, unfortunately, so you will need an all new operator mechanism.

We should be able to help, but I can't see enough of your operator in order to narrow down the list of possibilities. Right now there are a ton. If possible, I'd like to see the rest of the operator mechanism. Seeing it removed would be ideal but I understand if that's not something you want to do at this stage of the project; all the same, I need to see as much of it as you can manage. Figure that the more of it that's obscured, the less likely I'll be able to help.
