Window crank

A home owner from Minnetonka, MN says:
The "male" part that our window crank handle attaches to is wearing out and we are curious if there are replacement parts available. The house was built in 1959 in Minnesota. The crank handle says "Getty Phila PA". The crank itself is a chain-like piece that I imagine winds up inside the mechanism. The handle attaches to the male piece with a screw in the side of the handle shaft.

Thanks for contacting us. Unfortunately, I don't believe your operator is still available and I'm not sure if you could replace it with another type. Maybe if you were to replace the crank handle with a new one and tighten down the set screw you might get it to work. Can you give me the diameter of the handle's hole?
