The spiral threads are stripped. It will not grab to turn to turn the window open or close

Hello,

Thanks for posting! The piece connected to your crank handle is referred to as the worm gear. When this becomes stripped from the operator, it is not something that can be repairs, so you'll need to replace the entire mechanism.

I'll need to see a photo of the base of the operator as well as the arm(s) and how the operator connects to the bottom of the swinging window sash.
