Hello,
It sounds like your window operator has become stripped. When this occurs, the entire operator needs to be replaced. To determine the correct replacement, I'll need to see a photo with the window open. I'll need to see the arm(s) on the operator and how it connects to the bottom of the swinging window sash.

Thanks for the additional photos. You'll need the 39-253LB Encore Dual Arm Operator to replace yours. The piece at the end of the arm is the 39-529 Truth Hardware Track Slider, which slides is the 39-528 track.
If your cover cannot be removed from your operator, you'll also need the 39-451 cover kit. The folding version is the 39-375.
