Window crank

Question

1972 Champions mobile home , with this style side crank out window , I have tried some jalouse brand cranks . But they don't close the widow all the way tight . They look the same but the widow stays open a inch ( the gear on the crank stops dead ) I don't want keep buying trial and error to see if they work
