Window crank

Handy Person from New Paltz, NY
Hi,

I can't find any markings on my windows or cranks to identify these cranks. Any idea on the brand? None of them work.

Hello,

Your window most likely uses Truth hardware but that is a generic brand and doesn't tell us the correct replacement. There's a good chance that we can help but we will need to see your operator removed from the window to compare the arms that move the sash to our inventory. Thank you!

Ok. Do you have a video or guide on how to remove the operator? I don't see how to remove it.

We do not have a video showing your exact operator but we have related a few of our casement window videos on this page for you to review. Generally, you would need to open the window to access the installation screws that attach the base to the sill. After the screws are removed, you would need to detach the end of the operator arms that connect to the sash in order to pull the assembly through the cutout in the sill.
