Window crank for an encasment window

Home Owner from Nc
Hello - this is the crank on our encasement window. I cannot tell who manufactured the window. It is not Andersen or Simonton. The window got left open and the crank rusted and is bent. We need to replace the crank piece. Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you,

Taylor

Hi Taylor,

Thanks for posting! Your rear mount casement window operator can likely be replaced with either our 39-476 Rear Mount Casement Operator with a 9-1/2" arm or our 39-486 Rear Mount Casement Operator with a 7-1/2" arm. Take a look over the dimensions below and compare them to determine which of these might be the best fit for your repairs. The distance between the installation holes is the same for both operators.

The compatible handle for these operators is the 39-114L Crank Handle. I've tagged the opposite handed version of each of these operators below.

Thank you so much, Jasmine. One other question - any maybe this is obvious and I'm over looking it - in addition to the operator, do I need to buy a separate handle to attach to the crank to open the window? Or does one come with it? I don't see one on the picture? So like the actual piece you hold to turn and open the window. Thanks!

No worries! The crank handle is sold separately. It is the 39-114L Crank Handle.
