Window crank hardware broken by tenants

Handy Person from Oakland, CA
Hey! I've got white vinyl windows. The hardware on one piece case said truth 30866. On the slider pieces, I can't decipher the number on the piece, it seems like it could be 33177 or 35177 or even 33170 or 35170 or something of that sort.
My tenants have fully broken one set of hardware to the point that the mounts for the hardware to the window will need replacing.
On the other window that's pictured here, it seems like just the crank is loose.
Anyway! I would love your help!

Hello,

Take a look at the parts we've related on this page, which resemble the hardware shown in your photos. Look them over and compare the specifications shown on our product pages to yours. You mentioned that the "crank seems loose". It could be that you need to tighten the screws on the operator attached to the sill or the screws might be loose or missing. You could also consider using a washer behind the screw for added support. Thanks for posting.

This is incredibly helpful. Can you tell me if the stainless steel 2 bar hinge set is typically sold in many different sizes? And I can see the related products depend on the orientation of the opening mechanism. Definitely helpful to understand!!!

We're happy to help! We do offer the 36-004-10 in various sizes but you'll need to measure the length of the base attached to the window sill to determine if you need the standard 10" hinges or a larger size. You're welcome to look through our full selection here in the meantime.
