Window crank operatator

A quick learner from Plymouth Massachusetts says:

I'm looking for this replacement part. It's in a beach location so stainless would be best but any replacement will do.

I see you have the 5" arm but I don?t see the 4 1/2" arm. If you can?t get me the one I need can I make the 5" arm work some how?

Dave Sr. from SWISCO responded:

We've tried to get an operator with this 4-1/2" arm, but we've never been able to. My first suggestion would be to relocate your sash bracket on the window sash to the correct location needed to operate your window.

My other suggestion would be to remove the arms from both your operator and our operator, then attach the old 4-1/2" arm to the new operator with a 62-014. Take a look at the operator along with the suggested parts and let me know what you think.
