Window cranks stem

The stem of my right window is loose and will only crank the window open. When I try to crank it to closed, the metal stem the handle connects to come out of the housing. It's lose.

Hello!

The stem you're referring to is called the worm gear but I'm afraid it cannot be repaired or replaced so you'll need a whole new operator. Start by taking a look at our 39-031 and 39-032. Look over our dimensions and compare them with your old assembly to confirm these match up.
