Window doesn't stay open

Not sure what I need nor how to remove anything on this window please help

If your window won't stay open then the issue is with the balances, which are the tube shaped springs on either side. What you can do is use a tool like our 75-005 to charge them up a few times. That should give them their tension back and you can get a few more years of use.

To do this, have someone hold the window up while you insert the tool's hook into the bottom tip of the spiral balance. You can see a hole in your one photo. Disconnect it from the bottom then give it 3-4 clockwise turns. You should feel tension build. When you're done, reconnect the spiral balance and repeat this for the other side.
