Window dyad crank, correct replacement

A quick learner from Columbus, Ohio says:
I ordered a part (#38-089) by your measurements on the website. 5" between screws and the one arm 5". But when received It does not look like my old one. (see picture)

The old one is longer to the left and and shorter to the right. (See picture)

A plate attaches to the arm also in the picture. (on right)

Is it just a matter of drilling a new hole in the window to accommodate the plate being in a new position or do I need a different crank?

Good morning and thanks for posting.

It appears the correct crank replacement is the 39-187 Sash Dyad Crank.
