Window foot or Pivot Bar

Quick Learner from Irmo, sc
This piece was bent and broke when I tried to straighten it. It is at the bottom of a single hung window and slides into the pivot foot. Also need to replace the spring on these "carefree" windows

Thanks for posting. The pivot bar you're showing has been discontinued. However, take a look at our 26-241. It should work as a replacement. Let us know what you think.

Great thank you! Do you sell replacement springs or know where I can buy them?

Hi there, we can help with springs, too! Check them out here, or send us a photo of yours, and we'll make a recommendation. Specifically, we'll need to see the top and bottom attachments and any stamps marking on the balance.

Good morning, it is a simple spring, 24"long and 3/8" diameter, the ends are just bent parts of the spring.
Thanks!

Ah, I think I might have spoken too soon. Does this spring sit bare in the jamb liner? If so, we won't be able to replace it. It's technically a balance, but this one is literally built into the jamb liner, meaning those are what you need to replace. I recommend talking to a local  mill work, they should be able to set you up with new ones.
