Window frame locks

Question

I discovered that these windows will fall inward every time I they're opened. From the looks of it, these don't appear to be an easy or straight forward replacement. A part number or diagram would be very helpful. Thank you!

It definitely sounds like an issue with the tilt latch, but the bad news is that we do not sell the type you show here. This is a fairly old fashioned style and, as you already suspect, none of the products we sell work as a direct replacement.

You might want to consider converting your window to using a surface-mount latch. The video below will show you how this is done.
