Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out to us. I'm afraid your bottom shoe is too damaged, so I'm not sure if it originally had wings or not. Would it be possible for us to see a photo of an undamaged version?

I will but it may take me a day or two. Thank you Emily

No problem, we'll be here to help. While you're at it, we'd like you to write out the depth of the bottom shoe whenever you're able to do so. No rush!

Hello, I have attached a few other photos if it helps. The depth seems to be 1". Does that make sense? Let me know if I can be of any further help if this is not enough.

Thank you! I recommend the S380-27 which has a 1" deep bottom shoe. You can also select the 2630 stamp option. A pair of balances with this stamp will support a sash weighing 13 to 19 pounds.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Hello Emily, I took out the window to replace the balance and realized there was a part attached to the window I did not see earlier. I have attached the photo of it next to the part you sent me. Let me know if there is a correct part and I can purchase them and send these back if that is okay. Sorry for not being more diligent,

The top sash guide in your photos looks like a match for the 18-171 but take a look at the specifications and see what you think.

Are you saying that the balances for the window are incorrect? In the photos you previously uploaded, I noticed that your balance has winged top and bottom fittings. If the bottom fitting is 1 inch deep, then the Series 380 would be the appropriate choice, which I see is what you ordered.

Hi, I will go over and look again. I'm not sure if the piece screwed into the top of the frame is separate or supposed to be part of the slide unit itself.

The top sash guide is a separate part from the channel balance!

Hi Emily, I see but how do I attach the channel balance to the window? Thank you

We recommend watching the video below, which will go over the installation steps.
