Window handle broken off awning operator

Quick Learner from NY
I was twisting the handle and it completely broke off. I'm seeing if anybody can help me regarding finding the new part to replace it and how to temporarily slide it back and forth in order to close it. The screw are on the opposite side.

Did you need just the handle? If so, it looks like it has a hex spline similar to our 39-226; which has a 5/16" sized hex, specifically. Do you think this could work for you?

Hey, thanks for reaching back. I could possibly just need a new handle but as you can see in the picture the metal hex has snapped off midway through and I have no way of doing anything. There are no screws on the main white block the handle goes into in order to try and take it apart. The metal hex has cracked in half and a part of it is still lodged in the unit and I was hoping you can send me an instruction manual of this part or help me regarding how to take it apart in order to buy the new pieces I need and re fix it together. I would like to take it apart anyways because all the pieces on the outside have become rusted and that is what caused the crack of the handle to begin with. I can take more pictures and hopefully you can tell me the model and pieces I need. Thank you.

Thanks for getting back to us. It sounds like the problem is the operator itself. Take a look at the newer style operator, our 39-393. You will need to use a different handle for this, though. See our 39-205 11/32" spline handle. They don't make this style with a hex spline anymore.
