Tilt Window 3/8" Diameter Tube Balances 900 series. We need new hardware for Dutch Home 1992-1994 windows. PVC was around the spring tube with a black tip. Tube length is 26" with a 3/8" diameter not including PVC.\

Thank you for posting! Before we can offer the applicable spiral balance replacement, can you please give us the weight of your sash? To do so simply remove the sash from the window and place it on a bathroom scale. Can you also please confirm the diameter of your balance tube?

There are 3 different sash weights. We need 6 with sash weight 22.2lbs, 8 with sash weight 9.3lbs and 4 with sash weight 16.4lbs. Not completely sure what balance tube is if different then spiral balance? The spiral balance is 3/8" diameter not including PVC. Thank you

Thank you for the information. For the 22.2 lb. sash weight, please see our S900-26 spiral balance with a green tip, which can hold a sash weight of 14 through 26 lbs.

For the 16.4 lb. sash, please see our S900-26 spiral balance with a red tip, which can hold a sash weight of 10 through 22 lbs.

Finally, for the 9.3 lb. sash, you will need to have your spiral balance custom-made with a white tip. This will hold a sash weight range of 5 through 21 pounds. With that said, I'll go ahead and email you a custom order link that you can use to place an order on our website.

Please remember that our weight information is based on 2 balances per sash. Balances are designed assuming friction in the jamb weather-strip will carry a portion of the sash weight. Suggested sash weights are approximate.
