Window hardware

My crank to close my window seems to be stripped internally? I assume the window was built with house in 1989, but it may be more recent as remodel was done about 9 years ago. UNit is about 5.25 inches wide, and screw holes are at about 2.5 and 3 and 5/8 inches. The unit is raised off the sill, and itself is roughly 1 7/8 inches high.
