Window hinge and operator needed

Hi, customer service asked me to upload pictures of my operator and hinge, but I think one of the pieces of the operator arm is not attached. It sort of fell out when I opened up the window. I included a picture of it as well. Thanks in advance for any help!

Your old casement window hinge can be replaced by our 36-048. It's a little different than what you have now, but it will still work as long as you replace the top and bottom at the same time.

The operator and its arm were discontinued years ago and there are no known substitutes. I recommend trying your best to get that arm back on the window and functional, because there is no replacement for it. They simply don't make it anymore.

Thanks for the help! So nearly every window in this house we're buying has malfunctioned operators and/or hinges. I understand that the operator doesn't have a 1 to 1 replacement, but can I just go with a different style that works with the hinge, given that I'm going to be replacing them throughout the house? Or am I just out of luck altogether?

We'd love working windows and don't have the budget to replace all of the windows. Thanks again!

I'm afraid your out of luck. This particular operator has a pretty unique design, and there is nothing in our inventory that can work as a substitute. Believe me, we tried just about everything.
