Window hinge/crank out

Handy Person from Ottawa, kansas
Hello, I'm trying to repair our window and this particular part in photo number three under the window itself will not stay in the track when we go to crank the window shut. Not sure if we need to replace the track or the hinge or what parts exactly. For reference, the house was built in 1996. Thank you.

Hello, thank you for posting,

It appears that the track slider is disengaging. Unfortunately this part is not sold separately and the full hinge assembly would need to be replaced.

Please start by reviewing the 36-048 2-bar hinge set that has a 10" sill track or the 36-049 that has a 14" sill track. Compare to your original to confirm a good fit! Please note that both the top and bottom hinges will need to be replaced at the same time.
