Window isn't closing

Home Owner from New Jersey
Hi. I'm having trouble with the window closing. As you see in the picture it's not closing completely. I used wd 40 and I bought a wrench from you to tighten any bolts. But it's not working. Could be the hinge arm?

There could be many reasons why this window isn't closing all the way. Your next step should be to try to narrow down the list of possibilities.

The first thing you should do is remove the operator from the window entirely and see if the window still hangs up. If the window closes without issue, then you can safely presume that the operator you removed was the culprit.

If it does hang up, then you will want to remove the sash and hinged from the frame and carefully examine them for any damage, or perhaps any kind of gunk that would prevent them from sliding. In a best case scenario you just have to clean and lubricate them, or remove whatever obstruction. In a worst case scenario, they'd have to be replaced.
