Window issue

Question

I ordered some top sash stops that worked perfectly now my counter balance seem to have a problem. When I raise the window one side gets stuck see picture included. Notice bottom of window, counter balance is about 4 inches below window sash. Is this a counter balance assembly problem or window? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for posting. We should be able to help, but I'm not sure what the issue could be. I would remove your sash and balances and carefully examine them. Check the inside of the track for any obstruction or damage. Also check the balance itself to see if the cord or springs are broken.
