Window latch

Home Owner
I'm looking for a replacement window latch per the attached pics.  Parts 26-243 & 244 are the closest I can find.  However, the locking tab that keeps the latch in place is slightly different than these parts.  243 & 244 show the tab being 3/16 from the edge, whereas the one pic on mine shows .092 or roughly 3/32.  I've looked at 26-393B as well and that looks like it may work but I can't tell how the slot works for sliding it into the frame, not the same full length design as mine.  Appreciate any help you can provide.

The 26-243 and 26-244 Tilt Window Latches should be the replacements needed for your repair. As you mentioned, the 26-393B has a much shorter length, so it would not fit properly in the top of the sash. The peanut shaped "nub" on the side of it may also prevent it from installing.

The 3/16" tab should not affect the installation or the function of the latches. The most important dimensions are the length, width, and height of the latches.
