Need expert assistance pls. I can't find this latch with the hole at the end of the latch that hooks to the metal bar.

Thank you for posting. Please take a look at the 38-036 lock to see if yours matches up to the 2-1/2" mounting holes and other dimensions on the lock. You may also need the shim and mounting screws suggested on the related items side. Get back to us and let us know how you made out.
