Window latch broke and cannot open/unlock window

Quick Learner from Pasadena Ca
Hello, I need a replacement latch that is like the one pictured but in white. If a replacement is not available, I need guidance on how to change the entire locking mechanism as I cannot locate any screws to remove the lock and the mechanism does not seem to have a cover plate. I would also need to know which locking mechanism I would need to purchase that would work with this second story sliding window.

Thank you!

Hey there,

Thanks for reaching out to us! Your exact IWC latch is no longer available but the 90-313 Deep-set Sash Lock should work to replace it. The manufacturer has confirmed this to be a suitable alternative.

Keep in mind, you will likely need to drill new installation holes to install it. Be mindful not to drill too far into the frame since there is a risk of damaging the frame and or the glass.

We recommend using the 33-011 screw for installation.
