Window latched for top

A quick learner says:
The size is wrong because the latch will not line up with the screw to tighten to the frame,the old latch from the spring is 3/4-1" long a the one you sent is a little over an inch a that's why it will not line up to secure screw to window frame

Thanks for contacting us. I'm afraid your original tilt latch is no longer made, as it was discontinued by the manufacturer. To this day they've never offered a working replacement.

You may be better off substituting with a surface mount tilt latch. These are different than the others in that they just screw on. We have a video tutorial that shows how we do this. We find it to be an easier solution for sashes like yours. Let me know what you think!
