Window lock 90-005: plastic, aluminum or metal?

My windows latch was a Sunair Aluminum corp on the latch.... I see that you have had several people purchase your item number 90-005 which is the exact measurements that my latch is...

My question is your item number 90-005 does not indicate whether it is plasic or aluminium or metal.... my concern is if your item is plastic can't it break more easily.... as my old latch was a hard alumium ....which is more durable...

plese give me your thoughts.

please advise

The 90-005 is made of die-cast aluminum metal. The colors shown are painted on.
