Window lock broke

A quick learner from Alaska says:
Hello, this window lock has been giving me trouble the last few years and last night as I went to lock the window, I heard a snap and now it won't tighten and lock the window. I'm not sure where to find parts or what exactly needs to be replaced. Any help would be great!

Thanks,
Levi

I'm not sure what needs to be replaced either. It may be the lock, but that's just an educated guess. One way to confirm is to remove the lock from the window and test the lever out. If the fork doesn't move, then you've found your culprit. If it does appear to be working as normal, then you'll have to kind of just mess around with the window to see what might have broken.

Assuming it is the lock, then there are several options depending on the fork projection. Start by looking at our 38-095, 38-096, 38-138, or 38-139. Carefully review our dimensions, especially that fork projection I mentioned, and let me know if any match up.
