Window lock repair

We are a non profit building homes in our local community and use local contractors to assist us. One of the tenants has advised that one of the locks won't engage on this window. I would like to order a new lock like this from Swisco. Though we have been using Simonton windows to build our homes most recently, I am not sure if this window used in a home that we build in 2012 is a Simonton. If not can, I remove the current broken/stripped lock and put a generic or similar one in its place as long as the measurements are correct. Any assistance that you can provide will be more than helpful. Thank you!
