Window lock replacement question

Quick Learner from Michigan
Will these locks retrofit a window from the mid 1960's. The handles of our crank out windows broke off. They are almost a gold/bronze look metal.

Thanks for reaching out! The 38-098 RH Entrygard Sash look does appear to be the replacement lock needed for your window. The left handed version is part 38-097. You'll need to carefully review and compare the dimensions from your lock, to those shown on the diagram below, confirm that this is the right fit. The compatible keeper is part 38-079.

These are available in the color bronze.

Perfect! They will work. Our lock keepers seem to be fine. Do I need to replace those too since we are replacing the locks?

Okay, great! I'm glad to hear they'll work. If you believe they are still in working condition, you may not need to replace them. You'll need to look them over and asses their condition to determine if they'll need to be replaced.

I'm sorry that I cannot give more of a concrete answer.
