Window locks not latching

Jordan brand window locks, screws are approximately 2 1/4" apart. Windows are all about 6' tall with 2 locks per slider. None of the locks are latching so when in locked position the windows are still able to slide open. I don't know if it is because of faulty locks or the heat expanding the window. Please help! I'm trying to sell the house & buyer wants $2,400 for this issue!

Thank you for contacting us. At first glance, this looks like our 90-005. This is a fairly standard lock that usually locks into the window extrusion itself; they rarely work with a separate keeper. Could it be that the locking "tongue" on your old lock is broken? If not, is the extrusion where it locks cracked?
