I'm afraid I don't know what it is you're looking for, exactly. No top brackets that match the 36-048 come to mind. Can you show me a photo of the part in question so that I can check our inventory for a match?

I order 2 - 2 Bar hinge set for bottom of casement windows and was told the 36-048 part would work. However this for bottom only. I also need the top arm assembly to go with it. Need part number please.

I think there may have been some confusion. The 36-048 set includes two hinge assemblies: one for the top and one for the bottom. If you have the 36-048, you should have all you need to repair a single sash. This product isn't sold for top or bottom specific applications because it's used for both.

We only got 4 bottoms no tops.

That's not what I'm seeing here. The hinges in your photo look like two normal pairs from our 36-048 kit. I see nothing here that would prevent them from working on the top of your window. Can you specify why these won't work for you? Have you tried them?

It's important to understand that the top and bottom hinges for the 36-048 don't look different aside from what direction they face. It's not like the top hinge has a different style or anything, it just faces the opposite direction. They're otherwise identical.

We will try them. But the picture I sent of top bracket shows only 1 arm. Brackets I received have 2 arms. Your own web site shows top assembly is different than bottom.

The picture on our website is shown below, which features both the top and bottom hinge side by side. All 2-bar hinge assembles are made with two bars connected to the base track, same as your original. While I can't see the full assembly in your first photo, I am almost positive that your top hinge also has two bars and that you just can't see the other one because it's obscured by the sash. I've never heard of a hinge that only uses just one arm. It wouldn't be able to connect to the sash without that cross piece.
