Window not closing tight

Question

I replaced a 39-032 operator. When window gets close to the closing position, it pushes out at the bottom corner. It appears that a piece is broken. It looks like some kind of pivot or anchor mechanism that keeps the window tight to the frame as it closes. I don't know what the piece is called. Can you help?

Hi there!

It looks like the black slider on your hinge is broken. I'm afraid we don't sell this piece separately so you'll need a new hinge set. Start by taking a look at our 36-048 and see if this matches up for what you need. Just be sure to replace the top and bottom hinges at the same time.
