Windows are from Home Craftmans by Ply Gen

Out of Dallas Tx installed in 2005.

Have 4 windows with the same issues.

Question also is how do you remove them from channel without disassembling the whole window frame?

Only way I can see is cut the channel lips at the very top and then slide out and install new.

Do you have service company in Houston area or Tomball area?

Hello, Lyle. The pivot shoe you show looks like our 15-111, which is specifically designed to work with the Series 160 spring. Look these two parts over and see what you think. The video at the end of this post will walk you through how to replace this kind of hardware.
