It look like I I have a vinyl double-hung window that won't stay open. I took a picture of the piece that is good on one of the windows that does stay open. I am trying to identify what replacement part would be needed to get the window to open, stay open and close properly.

Based on your description it sounds like it could be the balance. We sell a ton of them but a clear photo will allow us to verify if it's something we sell. I will also note that it's best to remove it from the window before taking your photo to ensure that no details are obscured.
