Spring with cord and metal piece that make wind go up and down. It locks wiindow in place.your Add Photos screen will not allow me to add my photos

This looks like a kind of channel balance, but I cannot tell what it is. Too many important components appear to have broken off. Do you have an undamaged version we can see? If so, we need a clear picture of the following details:
- Where it installs at the top of the window
- The clip, hook, or shoe at the end of the cord at the bottom
- The stamp printed on the metal channel
Once we have this information, we can help you find a good replacement option.
