This looks like a pretty typical tilt window spiral balance. However, they don't make these with a 1/2" diameter. The only available sizes are the 3/8" Series 900 and 9/16" Series 600. You should double check your measurements to verify the better option.

No, these sizes have very different strength ratings. If the Blue Tip option is not available for the size and diameter you need, you will have to weigh your sash on a scale to confirm which of the existing color tips would be better.
