Quick Learner from California
Hello, can you help me identify what part number I need to order? The metal channel is 19" in length. Thanks!

Your balances assemblies are similar to a few in our inventory. I'll need to see a photo of the spring and the pulley system to narrow down the exact replacements needed for your window.

Please also confirm the measurement for the depth of your bottom shoe. Take a look at the diagram below for reference.

Thanks for your help. The depth of the bottom shoe is 1-1/16" (one and one sixteenth of an inch). I added a photo of the wing width too, I think it's something like 29/32".

The shoe depth is likely to be 1-3/32", which is a match for the shoe on the Series 385 Channel Balance.

You'll need the S385-19 with 1840 and 1850 stamp options. If these balances are from the same window, I strong advise confirming the sash weight. The 1840 stamp will support 14 to 17lbs, the 1850 will support 17 to 20lbs.

Hi Jasmine, I removed the window and weighed it. It is 22lbs, so it seems the 1840 and 1850 are under rated? What do you recommend I do?

If you are certain of the sash weight, I suggest using the 1860 stamp. It will support 20 to 23lbs.
