Window parts

Quick Learner from New Jersey
Hi, I just bought my home and several of the top part of the tilt Windows fall down. I watched your videos and think that I could repair the problem if I have the right parts. I am unsure of the manufacturer of the window so I have taken pictures of both parts I will need. A wonderful man from your company walked me through with what I might need to do earlier so hopefully you can lead me in the right direction. The spiral seems to be 23.5".
Thank you,
Dawn

Thanks for posting, Dawn. Since this is a tilt window spiral balance, the issue may be just that the spiral lost a little tension. You can use a tool like our 75-006 to give it a few turns (no more than 2-3, maybe 4) to get that tension back. If you don't feel tension return after 4 turns at most, you will need new balances entirely. Depending on the diameter of your outer tube, you would need either our Series 900 (3/8" diameter tube) or Series 600 (5/8" or 9/16" diameter tube).
