Window pivot pin

A home owner from Durham NC says:
Ref order #1594931
I have MW single sash vinyl windows, determined I needed S795-29 channel balance and 26-366 pivot bars. All measurements matched up to the old pivot bars in diameter and screw locations, even the lip stop looked the same. The problem came when installing the pin length is shorter and the balancer disengages with window was raised. Help

After reading additional post and recognized that customer experienced the same problem with the advisor recommending drilling new holes to space pivot bar farther out into the balancer. I removed the window sash to investigate that possibility, discovered the holes in the sash were slotted, using a flat blade screwdriver to hold the bars out as far as possible and tighten screws. Reinstalled sash and problem solved, thanks and I hope this helps other customers.
