Hello,

We'd be happy to look into this for you but we would need to see the rest of the top fitting that is partially shown in your last photo. I would also recommend checking the stamp code on the balance from the other side of the window since yours appears to have worn of partially. Thank you!

Unfortunately the other balance is missing that number as well. In fact, I think I broke the window getting the balance off on the other side. I think I need to replace the window. It is a "Pacific Window Corportion" window. 33 in. Wide and 29 in. Hieght. I will post more photos in another post.

Thanks for getting back to us but, unfortunately, your new photos only show the bottom fitting. We'll need to see the top fitting attached to the opposite end of the metal channel. Since the stamp code is not clear, I would also recommend weighing the window sash, which will help us determine the strength option needed for your replacements.

If the window glass or frame is damaged, unfortunately, that is not something that we could help with. If you need a new window or sash, your best bet would be to reach out to the manufacturer directly.

I do think I need a new window sash. I think the manufacturer is Pacific Window Corporation. You guys don't have them in stock?

With this combination of attachments, you could have either the S380-27 or S385-27 channel balance. You’ll need to measure as shown below. The Series 380 has a 1" bottom attachment, and the Series 385 has a 1-3/32" attachment.

Since your stamp code does not correlate to any of our strength options, you'll also need to determine the exact weight of your window sash. There is a chart on the product page that explains how to choose your option based on the sash weight.

As for the sash itself, you would need to reach out to the manufacturer or a local sash fabricator to discuss your options. Thanks for posting.

I weighed sash. It is 19 pounds. I also measured the bottom attachment. It is 1 inch, I need the S380 series. Either 2630 or 2640. Which do you think is the better choice? Also, do you have a sash guide and know which is needed based on the attached photos?

If your sash weighs exactly 19-pounds, either the 2630 or 2640 strength options will work. One will not support the sash better than the other, so the choice is up to you.

The top sash guide shown in your photos was discontinued but our 18-171 can be used as an alternative. The catch is that you need to trim the top down to size so that it will fit in your sash. It's also important to note that any product altered in this way can't be returned for a refund. You can see our return policy here for more information.
