Question

The window was jammed and the pivot bar was bent and when I fixed it it sprang up and slammed into the balance bar and snapped. I just need to know what parts to buy to replace it. The pivot bar is 2.5 inches. The balance bar is 28inches long and 1/2 inch thick.

Thanks for writing in! Your window balance looks like it can be replaced with the S770-28, with a 28D stamp. Like yours, these have a mounting screw way at the top of them.

The pivot bar reminds me of the 26-021. To determine the correct match, carefully look over the dimensions and compare them.
