Window replacement parts

Thanks for reaching out to us. Your coil balance assembly does look a little unique. I'm not surprised you couldn't find this anywhere. The good news is that I think we can still help, I just need some more information from you.

To start, I need you to remove one of these assemblies from the window entirely so that we can see it without obstruction. Given that I don't recognize it, and you can't find it anywhere, let's try to avoid guessing if we can help it. Remove an undamaged version and show me a picture of it by itself. It's more work now, but it will ensure we get this job done right, so it's worth it.

I specifically need to see the pivot shoe and spring. The retainer clip is perfectly visible so I'm not worried about that so much. I will also need you to measure the width and thickness of the shoe and write down what you get.

Lastly, there will be a number printed on the band of the coil spring, new the screw hole. Please tell me what that reads. If there is no number, or if it's too faded to read, you're going to need to get the precise weight of the sash down to the ounce. Any common bathroom scale will do.

With that data in hand, I'm optimistic that I can get you a balance assembly that will repair this window. If not the original parts then at least something that will work the same way.
